'Istana' means 'palace' in malay. Just as the name tells, the outlook of the hotel looks like a small white palace with black tinted glass panes. The lobby is very large with palatial splendour. It is furnished in black granite and with a huge chandelier and a fountain in the centre, it gives a grand and majestic feel.
