The hotel is situated in a peaceful street, minutes from Crystal Palace railway station and within 15 minutes of central London by train (direct train to Victoria station and London Bridge).

Rooms are on average medium to large in size and are nicely decorated. They all feature tea and coffee making facilities, TV, hair-dryer, trouser press, direct dial telephone and PC Connect. Some of the rooms on the higher floors have a stunning view over London.

The breakfast room is served in the roof top restaurant (the Crystal room), with superb panoramic views south to Kent and north to the London Eye and Central London. The hotel also has a bar "the Queens", which serves snacks and light meals from 12 noon until 8:30 pm.

The exterior is a magnificent Victorian building with a white facade. The building was recently extended and now features a newer wing. The smart lobby is medium in size and features some seating areas for guests to relax.
