2 Star, Tourist Class Traditional Hotel

This hotel is situated directly opposite Puerta de Atocha Train Station and ideally placed for those who wish to spend their time in the city visiting the famous museums and art galleries nearby. It is approximately 20 minutes drive from Barajas Airport.

Rooms are of a good standard and have recently been refurbished with wooden floors. All have a fully equipped bathroom complete with hair dryer. There is air conditioning/heating facilities as well as a television and direct dial telephone in each room.

There is no restaurant as such that serves lunch and dinner but there is a breakfast room that serves continental breakfast. There is also a bar/cafeteria where one can enjoy a relaxing drink or refreshment.

The building itself is a very old building dating back over a century but it has been operating as hotel since shortly after the Spanish civil war in 1939. The facade is large and impressive and is a central point of reference of the area. The lobby is medium in size with the reception situated to the left upon entering from the foyer.

All in all, a perfect hotel for those who are travelling around Spain by train due to it's proximity to one of the cities main train stations. Other facilities include telephone/fax services, laundry service and car parking (payable direct to hotel). Ideal for those people who wish to stay central but not directly in the heart of the city.
