4 Star, First Class Historical Hotel

The hotel enjoys an absolutely perfect location, right next to the Duomo or Milan's principal cathedral, (second only in size to Rome's St Peters). All Milans major shops are a stones throw away. The hotel is in the middle of a pedestrianised zone containing countless bars, restaurants and cinemas.

The rooms vary in design and colour, furnished in a modern, bright and not overly elaborate. All rooms are carpeted, the head of the bed is blue coloured with a 'fresco' painting.The style is simple but very pleasant. There is no restaurant, but a breakfast room is located on the first floor. In the evening one may enjoy a quiet aperitif away from the hustle and bustle of the streets below.

The hotel is housed in an old Italian building which is in keeping with the surrounding buildings in Milan's historical centre. The lobby is quite a small area. The reception desk is on the left and the two lifts area on the right. The pleasant sitting area is composed by red or creme coloured sofas, leather furnished and wooden coffee tables. The lights give a quiet and comfortable atmosphere.

The hotel has a perfect location and is a good standard first class hotel.
