Famous beaches on Phukets are Patong, Karon and Kata. And more secluded beaches like Cape Panwa and Chalong Bay. Patong has wide variety of activities and nightlife, and is an ideal place to party and play. By night the town has a bustling nightlife which includes literally hundreds of restaurants, chic lounge bars, beer bars and of course discos. The nightlife is centred around Soi Bangla (Bangla Road) however there are quiet parts of town.
Travel Tips in Phuket
Phuket International Airport is located approximately 30 kilometers north of the city. Taxis between Phuket City and the airport costs approximately 400 Baht but the fare to the beach ranges between 500 Baht and 600 Baht.
Phuket is also the starting point to explore nearby islands like Koh Phangan.
