The Golden Star House ****hotel is located just below Prague Castle, on the beginning of
the street of Nerudova and the Royal Route, which leads through the historical centre of
Prague, taking in The Lesser Town (Mala Strana), Charles Bridge and the Old Town.

The recently finished reconstruction (in May 2000) preserved the original architectural
elements whilst complementing them carefully with modern luxury facilities. Right next to
the elevator you can see a 270-year old staircase, and the original ornamental plastering
of the ceiling is visible in our completely up-to-date bathrooms. The wooden period
furniture is in perfect harmony with the historical atmosphere of the House, but at the same
time it is treated with the latest wax technique, banishing the need for ecologically
damaging varnishes.

We offer double rooms, twin rooms and suites. Subtle and interesting colour combinations,
quality fabrics and fine furniture enhance the character of the rooms. Original period
furniture is specially selected for each room. Parquet floors are treated with an
ecologically sound lacquer.

including CNN, phone. Baby cot available on request. Washing, cleaning, ironing.
