Queenstown is a scenic town in the South Island of New Zealand. It is one of the most beautiful regions of Otago and offers year round attractions. Getting around without a car is relatively easy. Major activity and accommodation operators provide transport to and from the town centre; there are daily scheduled coach services to/from Arrowtown and Glenorchy; and taxis, taxi buses and tour cars operate 24 hours a day. For independence, hire a car, moped or cycle.
